I captured photo/video for 45 of LA County’s top multi-use trails to provide content for the new LACDPR Trail website and app. This assignment required hiking or agency ride alongs on all 45 trails, while capturing photo, video, and GPS surveys of each. I also performed GIS analysis, and geodatabase and project management.
I also directed and captured promotional photo and video content for LACDPR’s Trails promotional campaign.
I previously worked as a contributing content writer, photographer, and geographer for outdoor destination review website Roots Rated in 2013. I provided 300+ outdoor destination reviews for the initial content launch of Los Angeles and San Diego, California and Austin, Texas. These reviews required writing, photography, and mapping and covered outdoors destinations for hiking, rock climbing, surfing, food and drink, gear shops and more.

I contributed Aurora, photos from a 90-mile 7-day rafting trip with 2 friends down the Green River through Desolation and Gray Canyons in Utah in the fall of 2015. I wrote a story about my first day of ice climbing under the instruction of San Juan Mountain Guides, in Ouray, Colorado. This story was a joint marketing publication I created for SJMG and Outdoor Project.
